I have tested a similar solution, but I have used an external TV-tuner with a cable TV provider.

Since the cable TV was not encrypted, I was able to watch TV on a computer monitor while recording shows on the computer using the recording software provided. Therefore, it should work.

Unfortunately, my TV-tuner died from overheating. Therefore, I am unable to test the current setup.

I have recently purchased a new TV and it works fine. Therefore, the box will work with any TV.

I second the above. Complete waste of time. Take your little hypothesis down until you have a solution.

little different experience for me:

strangely, this path>> “c:/Program Files (x86)/PHP/”
didnt work. but this path worked: "c:/PHP/"

also: while copy paste from the page we must remember to change the smart quotes to the normal ones:
wrong quotes: “c:/PHP/”
right quotes:o "c:/PHP/"

The defect is indeed due to a hardware/design error. Even if the printer is initially working fine, it will most likely show this defect after a while. It's the consequence of clotted/dried ink being deposited on the rack and pinion mechanism that is moving the ink receptive "block" on the right hand side of the printer. As the rack and pinion will be moving with more and more difficulty, this will lead to breaking of the plastic device that is functioning as the "driver" of the mechanism.
In my printer this happened after 13 months, so just outside warranty.
HP declines every responsibility, incredible.
I support every action to move HP into a more customer friendly mode.
