When a document gets sent to the Samsung CLP-315 printer, it is no longer in the printer queue.  Therefore, canceling the job while it is being printed is not possible that way.

The only way to cancel a print job is to:

1. pull out the paper tray.
2. wait til the printer stops printing.  The green power light will turn red also.
3. turn off the printer by switching it off in the back.  Pulling the power plug may also work, but I flip the on/off switch to off.
4. push back in the paper tray when the red power light turns off.
5. wait 5 seconds and turn the printer back on.

When it comes to printing documents, it is not a simple process to cancel printing that are already being printed.  This should also work for all other printers that need to cancel print jobs that cannot be canceled using the print queue.

For those wondering how to cancel a print job on a Samsung CLP-315 or quite possibly many other printers, this may work.
