I have started developing a Calendar using PHP5. This calendar requires PHP5 due from the fact that it is object oriented. The database will be a flat file database. Future implementations will have MySQL and/or SQLite support.
Since the Calendar function is not installed by default in non-Windows distributions, I created one.
May 24, 2010 – Stopped working on the program, and I have given my code for anyone to look at. The code can be downloaded from Calendar. Since there is no error messages and/or way to see what is not working, some additional prints were put in.
Feb 9, 2010 – Created an add event screen.
Jan 28, 2010 – Tested all critical functions in both CustomCalendar.php class and GregorianCalendar.php class. GregorianCalendar.php should produce the correct calendar for dates ranging from 2010 to 2099. Testing is far from complete, but it works so far. Next step is to make the html tables to hold the calendar data.
Jan 27, 2010 – Created CustomCalendar.php class and GregorianCalendar.php class. Partial testing done to ensure they will not break. Created documentation that will allow others to use these classes.
