When it comes to the case or other fans used in the computer, one may want to slow them down to make them quieter.  In the case of the Antec Smartcool that shakes, slowing it down will help reduce the noise being created by the vibrations.  Therefore, I will provide the options available to do this.

• Fan controller – A fan controller has knobs that will speed up or slow down the fan.  This particular version has sensors that detect the fan’s RPM and the temperatures of four different parts.  It is not necessary to plug in any of the temperature sensors, but it is nice to see how hot or cool things get.  http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/045/km02_detail.html
