Since I am too cheap to pay for Red Hat Linux, and I am in need of a more stable solution than Fedora Core Linux, I have moved on to CentOS. It is quite easy to use, and it resembles Ubuntu Linux in many ways. For those people looking for an alternative to Ubuntu Linux that is Red Hat based, you can try out CentOS.
The Samsung CLP-315 works on CentOS 5.2 Linux, but there are some issues. It works fine with colours, pictures, and text, but has problems with tables. I am not sure why, but I will have to test it again after applying the updates to CentOS 5.2.
NOTE: The CLP-310 is identical to the CLP-315. The only difference is the color of the case. Therefore, if one driver don’t work, try the other.
Printing from the Internet is possible, but you will have to save the page you want to print into PDF format. After, print the PDF document.
CentOS can be downloaded from http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=15

If one wants to try to install the native Samsung driver, please read the notes at http://aprivatebeach.com/blog/2008/10/ubuntu-samsung-clp-315. The notes relating to installing the Samsung native drivers.
