I bought some business card paper for my laser printer. I tried both the cheap perforated paper costing $10 for 250 business cards and the expensive thick clean edge paper costing $20 for 150 business cards. It should come at no surprise that the expensive one is better.
The reasons are that the card:
- is thicker
- has smooth edges
- looks and feels like the type used by professionals
I am going to stick with the thicker, clean edge paper for printing business cards. They may cost more, but they are much nicer.
This article made buying business cards less confusing for me.
